Recreational Gymnasts are grouped within the class by age and skill level. We include beginners, intermediate and advanced gymnasts in all of the classes. We alternate events training one week on Bars, Vault and Conditioning followed by Beam, Floor and Tumble Trak the following week. Gymnasts will train basic development of critical skills needed to progress properly in gymnastics. Some of these basic beginner skills include jumping positions, balancing, swinging, forward roll, backwards roll, handstand and cartwheel. Some of the more advanced skills include pull-over, back hip circle, handstand forward roll, back extension roll, round-off and back handspring. These motor skills developed while in gymnastics may be applied to excel in any sport. Strength, agility and balance are the three key skills that are developed in the class.
- We offer 12 Gymnastics classes throughout the week. - You may register your child to attend 1 class per week or up to as many as 5 classes per week. - Monthly tuition depends on the amount of classes the child has registered for.
